We have limited mats in our sessions and want to make sure every spot is taken up by somebody who would like to practice. If you book and do not show up for class we reserve the right to fine you a nominal fee to cover our admin time.
-
If you are new to yoga or Pilates and unsure what to attend, get in touch with our friendly reception team, and they will be able to guide you. Look out for our special Beginner’s Yoga Workshop and longer length courses we offer annually.

CAFE
-
Our cafe opens at 8am until 3pm and we serve a selection of lunches until about 2:30pm
-
We have a variety of vegan milks, treats and lunches.
FOOD BANK
-
Our Food Bank provides regular healthy food for registered users. As our list of households is full, we are currently running a waiting list. This means that we are unfortunately not able to provide urgent or emergency food for anyone. If you are in need of food immediately we suggest looking at this timetable made by the Islington Food Partnership to see where might be able to provide hot or emergency support close to you.
If you have questions about our waiting list or about referring someone, get in touch with Asha, the Food Bank Coordinator by email here or by phone on 07727157138,
-
We serve the postcode area very close to us. This usually means an N1 7.. or N1 8.. postcode. Or, if we are your closest or most accessible food bank, which means we do include people with different postcodes to that. If you need help working this out, you can get in touch and we will check! Other than the postcode, we run a self-referral process, which means if you are in need of support, you are welcome to fill out the form for the waiting list.
-
You can donate food donations (that are in date and fully sealed) to the Food Bank any time our Cafe is open. We benefit most from financial donations (see the donation page) as this helps us to order exactly the food that we need each week.
-
Anyone is welcome to volunteer at the food bank. We have regular shifts on Mondays and Tuesdays and sometimes have ad-hod extra jobs on other days we can use help with. See our volunteer page for more info and to get in touch!
-
In general we cannot take donations of items (other than food, household goods such as washing-up liquid, toilet bleach and toiletries) as we are unable to store them. We often do specific call-outs for items when we specially need them, including at Christmas. Follow us on social media to keep in the loop with these call-outs. If you have something specific you want to donate we do still encourage you to get in touch with us
GARDENS
-
We host 3 sessions a week. Please refer back to our schedule so you can also have an idea of the activities we do in each park.
-
No need to sign up, just show up :)
-
You can request our lead gardener to add you to the garden's whatsapp group. There's no spam in the group, only updates about the sessions and garden related workshops.
-
We provide anything you may need tools-wise for the sessions. Sometimes people like gardening with their own gloves, but it's not a problem if you don't have some as we have it all ready to use. Please bring a refillable water bottle for personal use, you can refill it at the ARC.
-
Make sure you wear comfortable, weather appropriate clothing and shoes. Clothing you're not too precious about as we may get a bit grubby.
-
That's not a problem, we got you! Our sessions are held by our lead gardener. She's able to guide you through the tasks.
-
We offer a session a week perfect for anyone who has some mobility issues. Please come on a Friday at 3pm. We garden in our raised beds in front of the ARC.
If your mobility issues aren't severe, feel free to come to any of the sessions and speak to Mariana. She's able to adapt the session to everyone and makes sure that no one does anything that could injure them. There's always lots to do and a variety of tasks available.
-
Any child above 7 is welcome to join us as long as accompanied by a parent or responsible adult. Our session on Sunday is perfect for you as it's located in Packington Square (the children's playground), this way if they fancy taking a break from gardening to play they are in the right place.
-
You can always make a donation via our donations page, come and have a coffee at our cafe, attend a class or buy one of the plants we sell on Tom's stand outside the ARC.
