Welcome to The Arc Collective

ARC Collective is a not-for-profit community space in Islington shaped by the local neighbourhood and built by local people, for the benefit of all. Designed with generosity at its core, we bring people together, offering connection and a chance to belong, right here on your doorstep.

Our aim is to create an environment that supports people to make positive shifts in their lives, encouraging them to live healthy, balanced, creative, connected and happier lives.

Our mission is to be a refuge of positive change by providing the resources needed for a vibrant life through movement, exciting workshops, courses, talks and experiences. We care about creating a community where every person matters, and we can all stand shoulder to shoulder with mutual respect, in an environment that is nurtured and cared for.

We are a not-for-profit CIC and revenue generated by our offerings goes straight back into our community work. So, by supporting your own life through a membership, class, activity or joy-filled connection, you are supporting a neighbour in need to access the same transformative experiences.

Our community cafe sits at the heart of all our projects. An eclectic space offering coworking desks and relaxed seating both indoors and on our garden terrace. Designed to feel like a home from home, this is your place to connect with your neighbours.

Open Tuesday to Sunday from 8am until 3pm, our cafe offers a range of speciality coffees, cakes, sandwiches and a selection of breakfasts and lunches.

On Wednesdays we operate as a Warm Space where all are welcome to come and enjoy a hot drink and simply relax in a cosy armchair.

Working in collaboration with Islington Parks Service, we are the proud custodians of 4 public gardens. These gardens are havens for residents and wildlife alike, significantly increasing biodiversity. We also use these gardens as areas to train local people in Urban permaculture and horticulture.

Our yoga classes are delivered from two beautiful airy and plant-filled studios, fully equipped with yoga props and boasting some of the finest and friendliest teachers in London. We offer many styles of yoga plus Pilates, breathwork, meditation and also specialist classes like pre and post-natal yoga and classes for children and families.

Our food bank provides a literal lifeline to those in our neighbourhood, giving simple and nutritious food when they need it most. Our food boxes feature healthy essentials, fresh produce, and store cupboard ingredients, providing enough food for 3 to 4 days for more than 300 local people each and every week.

What's On This Month

We curate an exciting programme of events including workshops, talks, courses, live music gigs and supper clubs and run art exhibitions from our cafe gallery space.

Donate

Donations are essential to achieving our community driven mission. Regular or recurring donations really help us plan for the future and understand how we can expand our services to better help local people. If you have the means to support us through a donation (whether this is a one-time thing or a regular contribution) we truly appreciate your help.

Volunteer

Our dedicated team of volunteers are our most important resource. These individuals truly represent the essence of neighbour helping neighbour, by giving their time and energy to others. If you have a few hours a week spare, would enjoy connecting with your neighbours and would like to help local people in need, we are always looking for extra hands in our gardens, our foodbank or helping around our yoga studio.

Join us and our mission to create a refuge of positive change in our community
